EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- With nine different players figuring in the scoring, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire scored a 3-0 win over visiting Augsburg College in a nonconference men's hockey game on Friday evening at the Hobbs Ice Center.

Nicholas Kuqali and Nic Weight scored goals in the first 10:46 of the first period, and Ross Janecyk added a third-period goal for the Blugolds (1-2-0 overall), which outshot the Auggies by a 38-22 margin.

Augsburg (2-1-0 overall) goalie Justin Lochner (FY, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) claimed 35 saves in a losing effort. Tyler Brigl scored the shutout win for the Blugolds with 22 saves.

Augsburg returns to nonconference action on Saturday (11/7) at 7 p.m., with a game at Wisconsin-River Falls.
