MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College women's soccer program will host two holiday break camps at the indoor air structure at Edor Nelson Field for boys and girls ages 6-12.

A three-day Holiday Camp will be held Dec. 28-30, from 9-11:30 a.m. each day, and a single-day Martin Luther King Day Camp/3-v-3 Tournament will be held on Jan. 18 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

The Dec. 28-30 Holiday Camp allows boys and girls ages 6-12 an opportunity to work on soccer fundamentals, receiving instruction from college soccer coaches and players. The environment is fun, challenging and beneficial for all players.

The Jan. 18 MLK Day Camp/3-v-3 Tournament is an opportunity for youngsters to enjoy a day off of school and improve as a soccer player. Players spend the first half of the morning receiving instruction from collegiate coaches and players, and spend the second half playing in a 3-v-3 tournament with players of similar ages.

Cost for the Dec. 28-30 Holiday Camp is $90, while the cost for the Jan. 18 MLK Day Camp/3-v-3 Tournament is $40. Players can take part in both camps for $125. Players will receive an Augsburg College Soccer Camp t-shirt. Players are required to bring proper soccer attire and a fully-inflated soccer ball.
