TOURNAMENT RESULTS

BECKER, Minn. -- Stefani Zappa (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) shot a two-day, 176 total to tie for 33rd, and Johanna Frykmark (SO, Stockholm, Sweden/Rollingby Gymnasium HS) shot a 180 total to tie for 41st, as the Augsburg College women's golf team placed 12th at the 14-team University of St. Thomas Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Pebble Creek Golf Club.

Augsburg finished with a two-day, 36-hole total of 780 (396-384), finishing five strokes ahead of 13th-place Concordia-Moorhead's 785.

Zappa had rounds of 87 and 89 for her 176 total, while Frykmark shot a 97 and season-best 83 for her 180 total.

Also for the Auggies, Kelsey Corrick (SO, Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) shot 202 (100-102), while Megan Dale shot 222 (112-110) and Jenna Marquardt shot 238 (119-119).

Augsburg closes the 2008-09 season with a triangular meet with Bethel University and Macalester College on Saturday at the Highland National Golf Course in St. Paul.
