Eighty-two golfers took part in the 12th annual Ed Saugestad Golf Tournament on Monday (6/15) at StoneRidge Golf Club in Stillwater, Minn., to support Augsburg's men's hockey program.

Winners of the 18-hole scramble event was the foursome of Tommy Erickson,
Trevor McCormick, Dustin Swenson and Ryan Olson, which shot a 58. Finishing in second (on a scorecard tiebreaker) was the foursome of Dana Privette,
Drew Privette, Dan Verville and Dale Mortensen, which shot 61. Also shooting in 61 to place third was the foursome of
Chris Johnson, Mark Johnson,
John Lennartson and Steve Lennartson.
Following the tournament, former NHL player
Gordie Roberts, father of current Augsburg player
Ben Roberts and current pro scout for the Montreal Canadiens, spoke at the tournament dinner about his pro hockey days. Roberts was a member of two Stanley Cup-winning teams with the Pittsburgh Penguins during a long NHL career, and was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999. In 1992, he became the first American-born player ever to appear in 1,000 NHL games.
