TOURNAMENT RESULTS
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. --
Stefani Zappa (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) and
Johanna Frykmark (JR, Taby, Sweden/Rollingby Gymnasium HS) each shout rounds of 90, leading the Augsburg College women's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the Concordia College-Moorhead Invitational, held on Friday at the Wildflower Golf Club.
Augsburg finished with a single-round total of 390 to stand eighth in the nine-team field. Division I North Dakota State won the tournament with a 317 total. The tournament featured three Division I teams and one Division II squad.
Jill Ferguson (FY, Batavia, Ill.) shot 102 for the Auggies, while
Miranda Maxwell (FY, Delano, Minn.) and
Megan Dale (SR, Northfield, Minn.) each shot totals of 108.
The Auggies will compete at the Concordia Cobber Open on Saturday and Sunday (9/12-13), also at the Wildflower course in Detroit Lakes.
