FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. -- The Augsburg College women's cross country team finished in 31st place at the prestigious University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational on a beautiful fall Saturday morning at the Les Bolstad Golf Course.
The Auggies were led by
Jennifer Lovering (SR, Bemidji, Minn.), who finished in 58th place with a 24:18.7 clocking over the 6,000 meter course. Next across the line for the Auggies was
Jennifer Pulscher (SO, Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty HS) and
Kacie Bahr (SO, Brainerd, Minn.), who finished in 28:26.3 and 28:37.1, respectively.
Finishing fourth for the Auggies was
Stacia Francis, who recorded a 31:52 clocking.
Adrienne Young (FY,
Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS) rounded out the top five for Augsburg, finishing in 34:05.6.
The Auggies are off next weekend and return to action on Saturday (10/10) when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Lucian Rosa Invitational.
