RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg women's swimming and diving team finished eighth with 65 team points in the St. Kate's Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Butler Center. The University of St. Thomas won the women's meet with 671 points, followed by Concordia-Moorhead, who finished second with 522 points.
Augsburg was led by two strong performances from its relay teams. The 200 medley relay team finished 11th, with a time of 2:14.20, cutting nearly a second off its seed time. Team members were:
Julie Zollner (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS),
Laura Moe (SO, Clackamas, Ore.),
Katie Neff (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Central HS) and
Amy Storlie (SR, Moorhead, Minn.). The 200 freestyle relay also had a good afternoon for the Auggies, finishing 14th with a time of 1:58.59.
Individually, Augsburg's highest finish of the afternoon was recorded by Moe, who finished 11th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:56.09. Moe also finished 12th in the 100 breaststroke (1:20.36) and 27th in the 200 individual medley (2:45.12).
The Auggies also had two 13th-place finishes in Zollner and Neff. Zollner's 13th-place finish came in the 200 back, where she recorded a time of 2:41.01. Neff's finish cam in the 100 butterfly, where she posted a season-best time of 1:19.56.

The Augsburg women's swimming and diving team will hit the water again on Jan. 29-30, as it travels to St. Paul, Minn. to take part in the Macalester Mini-Invitational.
