MIAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AWARDS
MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg College women's cross country runner
Kacie Bahr (JR, Brainerd, Minn.) was named to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Team, it was announced on Thursday.
The All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team is part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative. Members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition.
A three-year veteran of the the Augsburg women's cross country team, Bahr has participated in 21 meets during her career, including seven this season. As one of the Auggies most consistent runners, Bahr has finished as one of team's top three runners in six out of the team's seven races this season. Bahr recorded a career-best time of 25:35.1 at the Wisconsin-LaCrosse Invite earlier this season.
In addition to her performance as a student-athlete on the women's cross country team, Bahr is a member of Augsburg's Student Athlete Advisory Committe (SAAC).
The Augsburg women's cross country team closes out the regular season on Saturday (11/13) when they participate at the NCAA Division III Central Regional at Wartburg (Iowa).
