MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. --
Kelsey Hlavac (FY, Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley HS) recorded two top-10 individual finishes, leading the Augsburg College women's swimming team at the St. Catherine University Mini-Invitational, held on Friday evening at the Butler Center pool.
Hlavac finished eighth in the women's 500-yard freestyle in 6:05.84, while finishing 10th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:19.90. She also placed 14th for the Auggies in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing in 29.87 seconds.
Samantha Hebzynski (FY, Maple Grove, Minn.) recorded a 10th-place finish for the Auggies in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:01.95), while finishing 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:26.35) and 21st in the 50-yard freestyle (31.13 seconds).
Carmen Lovato (FY, Oakland, Calif./Bayhill HS) and
Dustina Granlund also competed in the 50-yard freestyle for the Auggies, finishing in 41.38 and 44.58 seconds, respectively.
The four Auggie swimmers competed in the 200-yard freestyle relay, finishing in 2:24.79.
Augsburg returns to action next weekend with two meets, competing next Friday (11/19) at 6 p.m. at a dual meet at St. Thomas, and next Saturday (11/20) at 1 p.m. at the Macalester Roger Ahlman Invitational.
