MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. --
Samantha Hebzynski (FY, Maple Grove, Minn.) recorded two top-15 finishes to lead the Augsburg College women's swimming team at the Macalester College Roger Ahlman Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Hebzynski finished ninth in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 13:16.61, while placing 15th in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:40.73. She also placed 40th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:08.46.
Two other Auggie swimmers,
Carmen Lovato (FY, Oakland, Calif./Bayhill HS) and
Dustina Granlund, also competed on Saturday. Lovato placed 43rd in the 50-yard freestyle (39.63 seconds) and 42nd in the 100-yard freestyle (1:29.25), while Granlund placed 44th in the 50-yard freestyle (45.22 seconds).
Augsburg returns to action on Dec. 3-4 with competition at the University of St. Thomas Invitational in St. Paul.
