Coaches of the Great Lakes Regional Wrestling Teams:

Augsburg College will be hosting the Great Lakes Regional Wrestling Meet on Feb. 20, 2010. It is important that you review the following information as it pertains to your team and student-athletes.

Prior to Tournament:
• Collect all skin sheets as required by the NCAA. Anything suspicious on the skin REQUIRES a doctor's signature on this particular form. Failure to fill out forms can lead to a disqualification of your student-athlete on the morning of the tournament.
• Ask your team's athletic trainer or sports medicine assistant to travel with your team for this event.
• Please bring a medical kit with supplies for your team, most importantly, tape.

Day of Tournament:
• Skin checks will be done by athletic trainers, 2 weight classes to a line. Dr. B.J. Anderson will have the FINAL say on any and all skin issues, therefore it is helpful to have a NCAA skin sheet to aid in his final decision.
• Two orthopedic surgery MDs will be present during the tournament.
• Athletic training services will be provided both mat-side as well as at a medical station. Access to the athletic training room will be available for hot packs, therapeutic modalities (only with written permission by the team's athletic trainer), ice and water.
• Ambulance service provided through Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) will be on site for the entirety of the tournament.
