NORTHFIELD, Minn. --
Whitney Holman (SR, New Hope, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) posted an NCAA provisional time as she won the 55 meter dash to lead the Auggies at the St. Olaf Qualifier on Friday night at the Tostrud Center.
Holman recorded a time of 7.28 seconds in the winning effort in the 55 meters, just getting under the NCAA provisional time of 7.29 seconds. Holman's time is currently the top time in the conference this season.
Shanek Telphia (FY, Chicago, Ill./Gage Park HS) claimed top honors in the 200 meters, posting the fastest time in the MIAC this season (25.48) and edging out the defending MIAC Champion in the process. Telphia also recorded a third place finish in the 55 meters, posting a time of 7.43 seconds.
Hurdler
Caroline Senungi (JR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) posted a personal-best time for the Auggies in the 55 meter hurdles, finishing in second place with a time of 8.86 seconds. Senungi's time currently ranks second in the conference.
Jennifer Pulscher (SO, Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty HS) also set a personal-best time at St. Olaf, recording a 2:31.21 in the 800 meters, finishing in seventh place.
The Augsburg women's track and field team returns to action on Friday and Saturday (3/5-6) when they travel back to Northfield, Minn. to take part in the MIAC Indoor Championships at Carleton College. Championship schedules and information can be found
