DUAL MEET RESULTS

MINNEAPOLIS -- Claiming three of the top four individual spots, the Augsburg College women's golf team shined at a home dual meet against Bethel University on Wednesday afternoon at the Columbia Golf Course.

Stefani Zappa (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) earned medalist honors in the meet with an 87 score. It was the third time Zappa has earned medalist honors at a meet this season. Jill Ferguson (FY, Batavia, Ill.) shot a career-best 93 to place third, and Megan Dale (SR, Northfield, Minn.) shot a career-best 102 to place fourth. With just three golfers, Augsburg did not record a four-player team score in the dual.

Bethel, which finished with a 447 team score, was led by Paige Lemieux, who scored 89 to place second. Erica Dennis placed fifth with a 116 total, Brianna McCarthy placed sixth with a 119 total, and Cara Lindell placed seventh with a 123 total.

Augsburg returns to action this Saturday and Sunday (4/17-18) at the St. Thomas Invitational at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
