MEET RESULTS
MENOMONIE, Wis. -- Five Augsburg College men's golfers posted scores in the 70s on Thursday, as the Auggies competed at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devil Invitational at the Chippewa Valley Golf Club.
Brian Deuel (SO, Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) shot a 77 score to tie for 15th place in the 46-player field to lead Augsburg's Maroon squad, which finished fourth in the four-school, eight-team meet with a 316 score.
Chris Johnson (SR, Verona, Wis./Madison Memorial HS) finished in a tie for 24th with a 79 total.
For Augsburg's Gray squad,
Jason Henning (JR, Coon Rapids, Minn.) and
Tucker Williams (SO, Roseville, Minn.) each shot 76 totals to tie for 11th place, as the Auggie Gray squad scored a 331 total to place eighth as a team.
Tim Herrmann (FY, Belle Plaine, Minn.), competing as an individual, also shot 76 to place 11th for the Auggies.
For Augsburg Maroon,
Christopher Tobkin (FY, Willmar, Minn./New London-Spicer HS) and
Zach Johnson (FY, Sartell, Minn.) each shot 80 to tie for 28th, and
Joel Kociemba (JR, Andover, Minn./St. Francis HS) shot 81 to tie for 31st.
Augsburg closes its 2009-10 season on Sunday and Monday (4/18-19) at the Gustavus Adolphus Bobby Krig Invitational at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn., and the Le Sueur (Minn.) Country Club.
