2009 SUMMER GOLF EVENTS/PHOTOS

If you're a golfer, there are several opportunities to support Augsburg athletics this summer, with numerous fundraising golf tournaments at courses throughout the Twin Cities area. In addition to golfing opportunities, there are also options for businesses and individuals to sponsor holes or donate prizes for raffle drawings. More details and information on other tournaments will be added in the coming weeks.

The 47th annual Clair Strommen A-Club Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 28 at the Gopher Hills Golf Course in Cannon Falls, Minn. Registration is at 10:30 a.m., with shotgun start for golf at 12 p.m. and a social, dinner and raffle will follow. Cost is $100 per person ($400 per foursome). The 6th annual Augsburg Men's and Women's Golf Fundraiser will be held on Monday, May 24 at the TPC Twin Cities Golf Course in Blaine, Minn. Registration is at 12 p.m., with shotgun start for golf at 1:30 p.m. Awards dinner and social begins at 5 p.m. Cost is $150 per person ($600 per foursome). The 13th annual Ed Saugestad Men's Hockey Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, June 11 at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minn. Registration is at 12 p.m., with shotgun start for golf at 1:15 p.m. Dinner and raffle will begin at 6 p.m. Cost is $100 per person.
