FINAL STATISTICS

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. -- Johanna Frykmark (SR, Taby, Sweden/Rollingby Gymnasium HS) and Stefani Zappa (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) finished in the top 15 individuals, leading the Augsburg College women's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Concordia-Moorhead Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Wildflower Golf Course.

Frykmark shot two rounds of 86 to finish with a 172 total, tying for 12th in the 43-golfer field with her best individual 36-hole score since the 2008-09 season. Zappa was a stroke behind Frykmark with a 173 (90-83) total, finishing 14th.

As a team, Augsburg finished fourth in the eight-team field with a 734 (375-359) total.

Jill Ferguson (SO, Batavia, Ill.) finished in 26th with a career-best 191 (100-91) total, while Ashley Lindemann (FY, Fargo, N.D./Fargo South HS) finished in 29th with a 198 (99-99) total. Megan Dale (SR, Northfield, Minn.) shot 210 (104-106) to finish 35th.

Competing as individuals, McKay Karl (FY, Belle Plaine, Minn.) shot 226 and Margaret Hughes (FY, Mendota Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) shot 272.

Augsburg returns to action next Saturday and Sunday (9/18-19) at the Carleton Division III Midwest Classic at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minn.
