MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg College is hosting several sports camps for youngsters to learn the basics of sports from Auggie coaches and student-athletes this summer. Youngsters can learn the fundamentals in several different sports during Auggie camps.

WRESTLING -- Augsburg's wrestling camps, in their 25th year, are held from June 12-23 at Si Melby Hall. A technique camp is from June 12-16, a father-son camp is from June 17-19, and a team camp is from June 19-23. Click here for more information.

FOOTBALL -- Augsburg has two football camps this summer -- a 7-on-7 passing tournament for players entering grades 9-12 on June 21, and a youth football clinic for kids ages 7-15 from July 25-28 at Edor Nelson Field. Click here for more information.

VOLLEYBALL -- Augsburg hosts several volleyball camps this summer at Si Melby Hall -- an advanced skills camp for players entering grades 9-12 from June 27-29, an intermediate camp for players entering grades 5-9 from June 29-30, and a single-day beginning skills camp on July 26. There will also be intermediate and advanced single-day skill sessions for defensive players and hitters held on July 27-28. There will also be camps for full teams on July 29-30. MEN'S BASKETBALL -- Augsburg is hosting its Auggie Summer Shootout on July 7-8 at Si Melby Hall. The shootout is for high school-age varsity and junior varsity boys' basketball teams, and will feature numerous games, along with a short instructional segment each day. MEN'S SOCCER -- Augsburg is part of the second annual Minnesota Boys' College Prep Camp from July 18-20 at Macalester Stadium in St. Paul, providing an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to train with college coaches from three MIAC institutions, including Augsburg. MEN'S/WOMEN'S GOLF -- Augsburg is hosting a series of overnight and day camps for youth golfers from June 26-30 on the Augsburg campus and at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minn.
