MINNEAPOLIS -- There is a parking advisory for fans wishing to attend this weekend's Augsburg College athletic events at Edor Nelson Field -- Augsburg's women's soccer game against Hamline on Friday (10/19) at 7:30 p.m. and Augsburg's football game against Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday (10/20) at 1 p.m.

Because it is an Augsburg For Adults (Weekend College) weekend, parking in ALL campus lots will be limited to Augsburg parking permit-holders when classes are in session. NO ATHLETIC SPECTATOR PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED IN ANY AUGSBURG PARKING LOTS, including "Lot L," the large parking lot adjacent to Edor Nelson Field and Si Melby Hall (click for campus map). Non-permit-holding visitors parking in any campus lots may be ticketed and/or towed at owner's expense. Attendants will be on-site at the entrance to Lot L on Friday evening and Saturday morning/afternoon to ensure that parking is available for Weekend College students, faculty and staff. However, if there are spaces available in Lot L, parking fees may be charged for access to the lot by non-permit-holders.

Spectators are encouraged to park in the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview "Yellow Ramp" (click for map). The entrance is located off of 23rd Avenue South, north of Riverside Avenue and behind the HealthPartners clinic -- roughly a two-block walk to the Augsburg athletic facilities. There are no in-out privileges at the Fairview lots/ramps. The ramp is often the best alternative to avoiding the parking crunch of on-street parking on gamedays. Due to road construction on Riverside Avenue, please use the following directions to gain access to the Yellow Ramp:
From the east side of campus and the I-94 Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue exit -- Follow Butler Place (the road on the south end of the field) past Murphy Square Park. Take a right on 22nd Avenue South. Follow straight past Riverside Avenue, and the Yellow Ramp entrance will be on the right.
From the west side of campus, take 22nd Avenue south straight past Riverside Avenue, and the Yellow Ramp entrance will be on the right.

Hourly rates for Yellow Ramp on Saturdays/Sundays or special events: $2 for 0-to-1/2 hour; $4 for 1/2-to-1 1/2 hours; $5 for 1 1/2-to-2 hours; $6 for 2-to-3 1/2 hours; $7 for 3 1/2-to-5 hours; $8 for 5-to-6 hours; $9 for 6-to-7 hours; $10 for 7-to-24 hours.

Hourly rates for Yellow Ramp (non-validated parking on weekdays) or Red Ramp (weekdays/weekends): $3 for 0-to-1/2 hour; $6 for 1/2-to-1 1/2 hours; $8 for 1 1/2-to-2 hours; $15 for 2-to-3 1/2 hours; $20 for 3 1/2-to-5 hours; $22 for 5-to-6 hours; $24 for 6-to-7 hours; $30 for 7-to-24 hours.

Yellow Ramp hours -- Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: automated (no attendant). Red Ramp hours -- Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There is also on-street parking available on the streets around Murphy Square Park in the center of campus, as well as metered parking (enforced 24 hours a day) on Riverside Avenue. Please note that all on-street parking has time limits or is metered; please be aware of the time limits where you park.
