AUGSBURG ATHLETICS WEBSITE

Augsburg College launched a new redesign of its athletic website on Tuesday, offering Auggie fans, friends and visitors a new and improved way to follow Augsburg athletics.

The redesign was the second for Augsburg since starting its partnership with SIDEARM Sports, a Syracuse, N.Y.-based company specializing in collegiate athletic site design, in 2009. SIDEARM Sports has more than 500 collegiate clients across North America, including several of Augsburg's sister schools in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The redesign was done in conjunction with a similar redesign of Augsburg College's webpage, which was launched last week.

The new site features a new, dynamic design which includes strong graphics, photos and video, with a cleaner, easier-to-navigate look. Users will find improved access to social media and multimedia outlets, including Augsburg athletics' live webcasts, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts, giving visitors a greater insight into Augsburg sports.

The process was completed during the fall by Augsburg's Sports Information staff -- Sports Information Director Don Stoner and Assistant SIDs Kelly Anderson Diercks and Ryan Kershaw -- during the fall, along with Augsburg SID student staff, Augsburg Marketing and Communication staff, and the staff at SIDEARM Sports.
