McKee is interviewed as part of the "MIAC Minute," a weekly feature that profiles personalities from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The show, hosted by Twin Cities television personality Rod Simons, was taped on Feb. 6 at the Seven Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.

McKee completed his first season as head coach of the Augsburg women's basketball team on Saturday, as the Auggies finished 14-11 overall (11-11 MIAC), matching the Auggies' 1983-84 campaign (14-11) for the most victories in a single season in the school's varsity women's basketball history (since 1972-73). The 11 MIAC wins also matches the 1983-84 (11-9) and 1984-85 (11-9) seasons for the most conference wins in a single season in Augsburg history.

The Auggies' 14 wins this season also equaled the number of Auggie victories in the prior three seasons combined (14-61). The 2011-12 campaign marked the first double-digit win season for Augsburg since 2000-01 (11-13), the seventh double-digit win campaign in the varsity era (since 1972-73), and its first .500-or-above season since 1984-85 (13-11).
