Augsburg College men's soccer head coach
Greg Holker will be one of the featured presenters at a clinic for youth soccer coaches in March at Macalester College.
The clinic, presented by the Minnesota Soccer Coaching Academy, will be held on Saturday, March 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Macalester's Leonard Center. Field sessions will be presented, along with a session focusing on game-day management and coaching techniques.
Holker is one of seven featured presenters at the clinic. He completed his eighth season as Augsburg's head coach in 2011, and now holds Augsburg's school record for men's soccer coaching wins (82-52-19). His Auggie teams have earned Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff berths four of the last six seasons, including the conference playoff title in 2010. Augsburg has advanced to the NCAA Division III national tournament in 2008 and 2010, and Holker earned MIAC Coach of the Year honors in 2006 and 2010.
Holker has coached at various levels of soccer for 17 years, and holds a USSF 'A' License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a NSCAA Regional Goalkeeper Diploma.
