ARDEN HILLS, Minn.--
Joe Arnold (SR, Grand Rapids, Minn.) recorded a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash, while teammates
Rick Wolke (SR, Belle Plaine, Minn.) and
Fabien Dubbe (FY, New Prauge, Minn.) also recorded top-ten finishes to lead the Augsburg College men's track and field team at the Bethel University Invitational Saturday afternoon. No team results were recorded at the meet.
Arnold, who finished fifth at last year's MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, finished Saturday's race in a time of 51.44.
According to the race website raceberryjam.com, Arnold currently owns the fourth fastest 400-meter time among MIAC competitors this season. Finishing just behind Arnold, was the Augsburg duo of Wolke and Dubbe, who finished the race in times of 52.07 seconds and 52.46 seconds respectively. Wolke, who did not compete in any other races Saturday, currently owns the third fastest 200-meter time in the MIAC this season.
Alex Obanor (FY, Fischers, Ind./Marian Catholic (Ill.) HS) also competed well for Augsburg on Saturday, as he recorded an eighth-place finish in the finals of the 60-meter dash. Obanor recorded a season best time of 7.42 seconds in the preliminary race en route to the event finals.

Luke Iverson (FY, Maple Grove, Minn.) finished sixth in the 600-meter dash, as he recorded a season-best time of 1:26.19 in the race.
In the relays, the Augsburg 4x400 meter team of Dubbe, Arnold, Iverson, and Wolke recorded a time of 3:27.04 en route to a second place finish.
In the field events, Augsburg high jumper
Michael Harley (FY, Sugar Hill, Ga./Stillwater (Minn.) HS) continued the solid start to his season, as he recorded a height of 1.86 meters (6-feet-1) to finish in third place. Teammate
John Spray (FY, Mount Dora, Fla./Mount Dora Bible HS) also turned in a solid performance for Augsburg, as he recorded a ninth-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 5.41 meters (17-feet-9).
The Auggies will return to action next weekend when they travel to Collegeville, Minn. to participate in the St. John's University/College of St. Benedict Invitational.
