MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. --
Undre Smith-Brewer (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) won two events at the Pre-MIAC meet held at Macalester's Leonard Center on Saturday afternoon. The Auggies finished with 75 points for fourth place.
Barinedum Kordah (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) and
Matt Green (JR, Victoria, Minn./Holy Family Catholic HS) also earned top honors in the meet.Â
Smith-Brewer's victories came in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.02, and in the 200-meter dash with a personal best 22.99 seconds. Kordah also had a great day on the track with a victory and personal best time of 50.11 in the 400-meter dash. Kordah also picked up a second place finish in the long jumpÂ
with a distance of 6.58 meters. Green recorded the top throw in the shot put with a distance of 14.60 meters.
Other top performers for Augsburg were
Phil Putratz (FY, Mazeppa, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS),
Ryan Cook (SR, Wetumpka, Ala.) and
Mohamed Mohamed (SO, Eden Prairie, Minn.). Putratz finished sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.37, while Cook and Mohamed crossed second and third respectively in the 600-meter run with times of 1:24.49 and 1:24.56.Â
Ahmed Nur (JR, Edina, Minn.) finished seventh in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:44.97, and 11th in the 1-mile run (4:42.92).
Chris Huss (FY, Jordan, Minn.) competed in the 3000-meter run and finished with a time of 9:31.03, good enough for eighth.Â
Augsburg's 4x400-meter relay team of
Luke Erickson (SO, Chippewa Falls, Minn.) Cook, Mohomaed, and
Luke Iverson (JR, Maple Grove, Minn.) finished third with a time of 3:34.96.Â

MIAC Championships are set for next Friday and Saturday (March 7-8) at St. John's University.
