HOW IT HAPPENED•
Abdullahi Salan (JR, Burnsville, Minn.)Â led the Auggie men, finishing 43rd with a time of 26:05.
• The Auggies second finisher in the eight-kilometer race was
Mohamed Mohamed (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn.), who finished with a time of 26:34, 59th overall.
• Chris Huss (JR, Jordan, Minn.) finished third for the Auggies, 105th overalll, with a time of 27:52.

Andrew McGillvary (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest HS) and
Luke Erickson (JR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) rounded out the top five for the Auggies finishing with times of 28:37 and 28:44 respectively.Â

Ryan Moore (FY, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael/Albertville HS)Â and
Ben Erickson (FY, Andover, Minn./PACT Charter School) also competed for the Auggies, finishing with times of 29:19.7 and 29:40.5 respectively.Â
FOR THE FOES• Medalist Eric Colvin finished the race with a time of 24:43 to lead the University of Minnesota to first place in a very competitive field with 52 points.
