MEET RESULTS

COLFAX, Wis. -- The Augsburg College women's cross country team claimed an 11th-place finish at the 2015 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Friday evening. Taybri Irving (JR, Rosemount, Minn.) led the Auggie women, finishing eighth with a time of 22:45.6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Every Auggie runner improved on their times from the last competition. Mary Cornelius (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished in 45th with a time of 24:00.5, while Rachel Frantz (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) finished in 67th with a time of 25:03.1.
• Emma Blom (JR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS), Katie Davidson (SO, Crookston, Minn.) and Caitlin Olson (FY, Onamia, Minn.) all finished the six-kilometer course under the 30-minute mark, with times of 26:14.8, 26:54.6, and 28:30.6 respectively.
• Silvia Cha (FY, Prior Lake, Minn.) also competed for the Auggies, finishing with a time of 31:36.8 

FOR THE FOES
• UW-La Crosse won the event with 74 points. UW-Eau Claire's Lucy Ramquist won the individual competition in 22:16.9.
