MEET RESULTS

PELLA, Iowa -- Taybri Irving (JR, Rosemount, Minn.) earned All-Region honors with a 25th-place finish, leading the Augsburg College women's cross country team at the 2015 NCAA Division III Central Regional, held Saturday at Central College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Irving finished 25th in the 205-runner field with a time of 23:12.6 over the six-kilometer course, earning All-Region (top-35) honors for the first time.
• As a team, Augsburg finished 21st with 551 points.
• Mary Cornelius (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished in 88th with a time of 24:34.3, while Rachel Frantz (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) finished in 112th with a time of 25:06.4.
• Emma Blom (JR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS), Katie Davidson and Caitlin Olson (FY, Onamia, Minn.) each finished under the 30-minute mark, with times of 25:54.8, 27:37.6, and 28:28.2 respectively. 
• Silvia Cha (FY, Prior Lake, Minn.) finished the race with a time of 40:52.7. 

FOR THE FOES
• St. Thomas won the Central Regional with a team score of 118 points.
• Carleton's Ruth Steinke was the medalist in the Central Region, winning with a time of 21:45.1.

• "We had a really strong showing today at the NCAA Central Region Championships. The region is very competitive, with more than four teams being nationally ranked for both the men and women.
