MEET RESULTSST. PAUL, Minn.-
Barinedum Kordah (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) led a number of high placing Auggies at the St. Thomas Showcase Friday afternoon. Kordah finished second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.18 seconds, while also long jumping his way to a second-place finish with a distance of 22'1". The Augsburg college indoor track and field team had a total of 20 indoor personal records and 1 indoor school record. Deontae Heuer set a new indoor school record in the pole vault last week and he bested it again at St. Thomas this week.

HOW IT HAPPENED•
Undre Smith-Brewer (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) recorded a third place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.04. The exact same time as last week's win for Smith-Brewer.
Preston Blake,
Deontae Heuer,
Pong Lee, and
Walter Foster-Bolton set indoor personal records in the event with times of 7.33, 7.48, 7.65 and 7.88 respectively.
• Smith-Brewer finished eighth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.18, while
Preston Blake,
Isiah Sims,
Festus Lamin,
Walter Foster-Bolton and
Wilson Musabyimana set new personal records with times of 23.72, 24.11, 24.55, 25.48 and 25.61 respectively.
• Luke Iverson (SR, Maple Grove, Minn.) was Augsburg's lead runner in the 1000 meter run, finishing with a time of 2:39.57, while
Tedros Kifle set a personal record with a time of 3:01.35.
• The Auggies had a strong showing in the 1 mile run with two top-ten fininishers.
Mohamed Mohamed (Jr, Eden Prairie, Minn) placed third with a personal best time of 4:28.73, and
Luke Erickson (JR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) finished 10th with a time of 4:44.50.
• Every runner in the 5000 meter run set an indoor personal record for the Auggies with
Abdul Salan setting the pace for Augsburg with a time of 15:26.09.
Chris Huss (SO, Jordan, Minn.),
Andrew McGillvary (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest HS) and
Ahmed Nur (SR, Edina, Minn.) all set personal records with times of 15:50.93, 15:55.47 and 16:44.16 respectively.
• Sean Adams (JR, Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS) competed in the high jump, clearing 5'2.25".
• Deontae Heuer is soaring to new heights in the pole vault every week, again breaking the indoor school record while placing third with a height of 14'3.25".
Sean Adams also competed in the pole vault and set a personal record by clearing a height of 10'4".

Michael Kantor (JR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) set a new personal record in the shot put with a distance of 43'3.25", while Jesse Kuusisto (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) set a new personal record in the weight throw with a distance of 42'5.5"
