Mohamed Mohamed (JR, Eden Prairie, Minn.),
Barinedum Kordah (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) and
Sean Adams (JR, Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS) led the Augsburg men's track and field team at the Macalester College Kilt Classic in the Leonard Center on Friday afternoon with first-place finishes in their respective events. Mohamed finished first in the 1000 meter run with a personal record time of 2:34.30, while Kordah and Adams earned a victories in the long jump and triple jump with distances of 22'5.75" and 41'10.75" respectively.THE BASICSFINAL RESULTS: Hamline (169), Bethel (107), Macalester (78), Gustavus Adolphus (69), Augsburg (53)

HOW IT HAPPENED• Undre Smith-Brewer (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) led Augsburg in the 60 meter dash with a second-place finish crossing the finish line in 7.02 seconds. Isiah Sims placed seventh with a personal best time of 7.33. It was a photo finish as first-year
Preston Blake finished eighth with a personal best time of 7.34.
• Blake also competed in the 200 meter dash, finishing in fifth-place with a personal best time of 23.51, while Sims finished in ninth with a personal record time of 23.87.
• Fabien Dubbe (SR, New Prague, Minn.) was Augsburg top finisher in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.30, good enough for seventh-place.
• Tedros Kifle competed in the 600 meter run, finishing in ninth with a time of 1:37.46.
• Besides Mohamed winning the 1000 meter run, Augsburg had three others in the top-ten. Luke Iverson (SR, Maple Grove, Minn) in third, Luke Erickson (JR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) in eighth, and Ahmed Nur (SR, Edina, Minn.) in 10th with times of 2:36.71, 2:42.69, and 2:47.20 respectively.
• Abdul Salan and Ibrahim Barqadle competed in the 1 mile run, finishing in fifth and sixth with both them recording personal best times of 4:36.93 and 4:37.51 respectively.
• Andrew McGillvary (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest HS) finished 10th in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:34.31.
• Deontae Heuer finished 10th in the pole vault clearing a height of 13'10".
• Walter Foster-Bolton also competed in the long jump and finished in eighth with a distance of 18'1.75". • Jesse Kuusisto (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) finished fifth in the shot put with a personal record distance of 43"10", while Mike Kantor finished eighth with a distance of 42'7".
• The Auggies had three top-ten finishers in the weight throw in Danny Buege (seventh), Kuusisto (eighth), Kantor (10th) with distances of 44'3.5", 43'10", 43'5.75" respectively.
