Jones and Roberge lead Auggies at Kilt Classic

MEET RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Augburg College women's track and field team was led by Callie Jones (SO, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) and Kayla Roberge (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Holy Angels HS) at the Macalester College Kilt Classic on Friday afternoon. Jones recorded a first-place finish in the long jump, while Roberge claimed a victory in the 800 meter run.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ashley Waalen (SO, Amery, Wis.)recorded a personal record time in the 60 meter dash finishing in third-place with a time of 8.40 seconds. Elizabeth Hickey finished fourth, also recording a personal best time of 8.42 seconds.
• Augsburg fared well in the 200 meter dash as well with Nikaylah Woody earning eighth-place with a personal best time of 27.79. Waalen and Hickey finished tied for tenth with an identical time of 28 seconds. 
• Woody also competed in the 400 meter dash, picking up another eighth-place finish as well as another personal record with a time of 1:03.66. 
• Roberge's victory came in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:20.26. 
• Katie Davidson (SO, Crookston, Minn.) and Blair Stewig each recorded personal best times in the 1 mile run, completing the race with times of 5:42.70 and 5:55.90 respectively. 
• Tina Angok (SO, Columbia Heights, Minn.) finished with a personal best time of 10.44 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles. 
• Angok also recorded a personal best height in the high jump, clearning 4'7.5". 
• Mam Inthasone tied a personal record and finished in eighth-place in the pole vault with a height of 8'1.25". 
• Jones' victory came in the long jump with a distance of 17'6.75", while Woody recorded a personal best distance of 12'10.75". 
• Kali Kuusisto (SO, Brooklyn Center/ Robbinsdale Armstrong) finished ninth in the weight throw with a distance of 41'2.25".
