Heuer sets new school record in pole vault

MEET RESULTS

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.- Deontae Heuer set a new indoor school record in the pole vault when he cleared 13'3.5" at the Gene Gladder Classic at Bethel University. The Augsburg men's track and field team performed well at Bethel, recording 11 indoor personal records, including the indoor school record in the pole vault.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Undre Smith-Brewer (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) recorded another first-place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.04.
• Barinedum Kordah (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) won the 200-meter dash with a personal record time of 22.75 seconds. Kordah is currently 1st on the MIAC list and 42 on the national list in this event. 
• The 4x200 meter relay team of first-year Preston Blake, Fabien Dubbe (SR, New Prague, Minn.), Kordah, and Smith-Brewer cemented their place in first on the MIAC list by finishing in first with a time of 1:31.90.
• First-year Wilson Musabyimana competed in the 400 meter dash, finishing with a personal best time of 56.10. 
• Michael Kantor (JR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) finished tenth in the weight throw and ninth in the shot put with distances of 42'8.75" and 41'1". The shot put distance was a personal record for Kantor.
• Luke Iverson (SR, Maple Grove, Minn.) finished in seventh in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:01.11.
