Jones and Roberge lead Auggies at Hamline

MEET RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Callie Jones (SO, Waubeka, WIs./Random Lake HS) and Kayla Roberge (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Holy Angels) led the Augsburg College women's track and field team at the Hamline Invitational Saturday afternoon at Klas Field. Jones recorded a personal record and third-place finish in the long jump, while also finishing third in the 200-meter dash. Roberge set a personal record in the 800-meter run on her way to a third-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Elizabeth Hickey (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Cretin Derham Hall HS) crossed the finish line in the 100-meter dash in a personal record 13.47 seconds. 
• Jones finished the 200-meter dash in third-place with a time of 26.32 seconds, while Nikaylah Woody recorded a personal record with a time of 27.45 seconds. 
• Woody recorded her second personal best of the day in the 400-meer dash with a time of 1:02.58, while Mary Cornelius (SO, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS) also finished with a personal best 1:04.14.
• Roberge's top finish came in the 800-meter run with a personal best time of 2:16.26. 
• Cornelius also competed in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:54.91. 
Taybri Irving (SO, Rosemount, Minn.) and Katie Davidson (SO, Crookston, Minn.) recorded personal best times in the 5,000-meter run with times of 18:46.20 and 20:01.37 respectively. 
Tina Angok (SO, Columbia Heights, Minn.) finished the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.66
Blair Stewig (FY, Maple Lake, Minn.) set a personal record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:24.15.
• Bridget Bednar (FY, Pierz, Minn.) was Augsburg's top performer in the high jump and set a pesonal record, clearing a height of 4'9". 
Mam Inthasone cleared 7'8.5" in the pole vault. 
• Jones' third-place finish in the long jump saw her set a personal record with a distance of 17'3.5". 
Katie Hedrick (SO, Norwalk, Wis./Sparta HS) recorded a personal best in the discus with a distance of 104'1", while also finishing as Augsburg top competitor in the hammer throw with a distance of 118'6". 
Kali Kuusisto (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) tossed the javelin 77'0" as Augsburg top performer.
