Jones records two top-five finishes at Tommie Twilight

MEET RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Augsburg College women's track and field team competed at the Tommie Twitlight Meet Wednesday evening at O'Shaughnessy Stadium on the campus of St. Thomas.
No team results were recorded, but a number of Auggies shined as the women's team recorded eight personal records.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Callie Jones (SO, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) recorded a personal best time of 12.30 seconds in the 100-meter dash, which was also good enough for second-place. Jones is currently second on the MIAC list and 33rd on the national list.
Elizabeth Hickey (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Cretin Derham Hall HS) finished with personal records in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash with times of 13.22 and 27.31 seconds.
Kayla Roberge (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Holy Angels HS) competed in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.56.
Taybri Irving (SO, Rosemount, Minn.) and Katelyn Davidson (SO, Crookston, Minn.) both finished with personal records in the 1,500-meter run with times of 4:57.39 and 5:27.04 respectively.
Tina Angok (SO, Columbia Heights, Minn.) also recorded a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.76 seconds.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Nikaylah Woody finished in ninth-place with a personal best time of 1:09.76.
Bridget Bednar tied her personal record in the high jump, clearing a height of 4'9".
Mam Inthasone cleared 8'0.75" in the pole vault.
Jones finished in fifth-place in the long jump with a distance of 16'6".
Kali Kuusisto (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) was Augsburg's top performer in the discuss, hammer throw and javelin with distances of 97'2", 103'4", and 95'1" respectively.
