Abdullahi Salan (JR, Burnsville, Minn.)Â led the Auggie men, finishing 28th with a time of 26:29.7.

HOW IT HAPPENED• In a very competitive eight-kilometer race, the Auggies only had one finisher in the top 30.
Chris Huss (JR, Jordan, Minn.) finished second for the Auggies with a time of 29:08.1, which slotted him 100th overall.

Luke Erickson (JR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.), Andrew McGillivary (JR, Minneapolis Minn./Southwest HS), and
Ryan Moore (FY, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael/Albertville HS) all finished with four spots of each other, and rounded out the top five for the Auggies finishing with times of 29:42.0, 29:51.7, and 29:54.8 respectively.Â
• Ibrahim Barqadle (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Fridley HS) and
Ahmed Nur (SR, Edina, Minn.) also competed for the Auggies, finishing with times of 30:06.2 and 30:48.0 respectively.Â
FOR THE FOES• Host St. Olaf College won the event scoring 59 points, while Ole Jake Campbell took home first place with a time of 25:20.2.
