Smith-Brewer, Egbujor lead Auggies at Warren Bowlus

MEET RESULTS

MENOMONIE, Wis. -- The Augsburg College men's track and field team was led by Undre Smith-Brewer (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) and Emmanuel Egbujor (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS) who won their respective events at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Open on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Smith Brewer won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.03 seconds, and placed ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.37 seconds.  
• Egbujor won the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.01 seconds, while Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) finished second with a time of 50.09. 
• The Augsburg 4x400-meter relay of Kordah, Preston Blake (SO, Champlin Park, Minn.), Mohamed Sharif (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) and Egbujor finished second with a time of 3:31.44. 
• Augsburg's top performer in the long jump was Jorden Gannon (FY, Roseville, Minn.), who finished 11th with a distance of 5.79 meters (19-feet-0.0).
• In the shot put, Jesse Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) finished 14th with a distance of 13.27 meters (43-feet-6.5). 
Michael Kantor (SR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) led the Auggies in the weight throw, finishing 12th with a distance of 14.62 meters (47-feet-1.75). 
Sean Adams (SR, Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS) competed in the Heptathlon and finished 14th with 2,656 points.

• The Auggies will travel to Bethel University on Saturday (2/6) for an 11 a.m. meet in Arden Hills, Minn.
