Augsburg volleyball hosts MLK Day Camp on Jan. 18

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College volleyball team is sponsoring a youth all-skills clinic for kids in grades 3-7 on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, Jan. 18, at Si Melby Hall.

The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check-in time is from 8:30-to-9 a.m., and check-out time is from 12-to-12:30 p.m. Children need to bring lace-up tennis shoes, athletic wear and a water bottle.

The camp will be led by Augsburg Head Coach Jane Becker, Assistant Coach Emily Palkert and current Auggie volleyball players. The clinic, for beginning to intermediate volleyball players in grades 3-7, will provide an opportunity for players to be introduced to all skills of the game, while learning from and interacting with the current Auggie volleyball team.

Cost of the camp is $30 (cash-only).
