MEET RESULTS

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Augsburg College finished 10th out of 15 teams on Saturday morning at the Carleton College Running of the Cows meet. The top finisher for the Auggies was Taybri Irving (SR, Rosemount, Minn.) who finished 11th in the 267-person race.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Irving, an MIAC Athlete of the Week earlier this season, scored an 11th-place finish at the Running of the Cows, finishing the 6,000-meter race in 23:37.10.
• As a team, Augsburg finished 10th in the 15-team meet with 256 points, with three Auggies finishing among the top 80 in the 267-runner meet.
• Malena Larsen (FY, Minnetonka, Minn.) finished 61st overall (55th team) in 24:58.20, beating her collegiate-best time of 25:33.80. 
• Rachel Frantz (JR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) was close behind Larsen, finishing 62nd overall (56th team) in 24:58.8.
• Blair Stewig (JR, Maple Lake, Minn.) finished 79th overall (68th team) in a collegiate-best time of 25:14.6. Emma Blom (SR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS) finished 91st (76th team) in 25:26.0.
• Kailey James (FY, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished in 26:20.4, Caitlin Olson (SO, Onamia, Minn.) finished in 28:09.0, Athena Cloud (SO, Ponemah, Minn./Bemidji HS) finished in 41:18.2 and Taylor Morton (FY, Morongo Valley, Calif./Desert Hot Springs HS) finished in 41:18.3.

FOR THE FOES
• Carleton won the meet with 47 team points, claiming five of the top 20 individual finishers.
