MINNESOTA MEET RESULTS
ST. OLAF TOSTRUD OPEN RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College men's track and field team competed at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open on Friday afternoon. No team results were recorded, however the Auggies had some very strong finishes against stiff competition.
Emmanuel Egbujor (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished first in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash, while
Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) trailed Egbujor by just 0.16 seconds in the 400-meter dash to earn second.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Egbujor recorded his first-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.21 seconds, and in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.30. These two times are currently the fastest in the MIAC.
• Kordah also competed in the 200-meter dash, coming in fourth with a time of 22.82 seconds. His second-place time in the 400-meter dash was 49.46 seconds. Kordah's 400-meter dash time is second-best to Egbujor in the MIAC. His 200-meter dash time is third-best.Â
• Kordah recorded another top-10 finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.64 meters (21-feet-9.5), good enough for sixth place.Â
• Undre Smith-Brewer (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) recorded a time of 7.02 seconds in the 60-meter dash finals, placing fifth. Smith-Brewer's preliminary time of 6.97 seconds is the second-fastest recorded 60-meter dash time in the MIAC this season.
• Smith-Brewer also competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing seventh with a time of 23.03, which is seventh-fastest in the MIAC.
• Jesse Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) led the Auggies in the shot put and finished ninth overall with a distance of 13.58 meters (44-feet-6.75).
• Kussisto finished even better in the weight throw as he came in fifth with a distance of 14.41 meters (47-feet-3.5).Â

Luke Erickson (SR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) finished the mile run as the top Auggie in 17th with a time of 4:32.76.
• Abdulllahi Salan (JR, Burnsville, Minn.) finished the 3000-meter run in 14th with a time of 9:06.10.
• Several Auggies also competed at the St. Olaf Tostrud Open on Saturday.
