Brandon Larsen won the shot put competition, leading the Augsburg College men's track and field team at the Bethel University
Gene Glader Classic on Saturday afternoon. HOW IT HAPPENED• Brandon Larsen won the shot put with a distance of 12.12 meters (39-feet-9). • Jorden Gannon (FY, Roseville, Minn.) finished in second in the triple jump with a distance of 12.02 meters (41-feet-3.25). He also finished eighth in the high jump, clearing 1.63 meters (5-feet-4.25). • Mohamed Mohamed (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn.) recorded a third-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.45, now the 11th-fastest time among MIAC runners in the event.• Luke Erickson (SR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) recorded a fourth-place finish in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:36.43. His time is currently sixth-fastest among MIAC runners in the event.• Michael Kantor (SR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) competed in the weight throw and finished fourth with a distance of 14.15 meters (46-feet-5).• Ben Erickson (FY, Andover, Minn.) was Augsburg's top runner in the 600-meter dash, finishing in fifth with a time of 1:35.60.•
Preston Blake (SO, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished the 60-meter dash in sixth place with a time of 7.4 seconds.
• Festus Lamin (JR, Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) led the Auggies in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.05 seconds, placing 12th. UP NEXT
