Kordah, Egbujor lead Augsburg at Carleton

MEET RESULTS

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg College men's track and field team competed at the Carleton Relays, and had three individual event winners at Laird Stadium on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) earned individual event crowns in both the 200-meter dash and the long jump. Kordah won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.25 seconds, and the long jump with a distance of 7.03-meters (23-feet-0.75). 
Emmanuel Egbujor (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS) won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.93 seconds, and finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.39 seconds. 
Luke Erickson (SR, Chippewa Falls, Wis.) competed in the 800-meter run, finishing in 12th with a time of 2:00.79. 
Jesse Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) finished seventh in the discuss throw with a distance of 41.97-meters (137-feet-8). 
• Three Auggies finished in the top-ten of the hammer throw -- Gunnar Melin (FY, Edina, Minn.) finished sixth, Michael Kantor (SR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) finished seventh, and Kussisto finished 10th. 
Tyler Rea (SO, Red Wing, Minn.) was Augsburg's top finisher in the javelin throw as he came in 14th with a distance of 41.72-meters (136-feet-10).
