Auggies outlast weather at St. Mary's Open

MEET RESULTS

WINONA, Minn. -- The Augsburg College women's track and field team competed at the Saint Mary's Open, while withstanding frigid temperatures and constant rain at the Saint Mary's Outdoor Complex on Saturday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Callie Jones (JR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) recorded a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.73 seconds. Jones also competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 22nd with a time of 29.36 seconds. 
Alaina Quaranta (FY, Eau Claire, Wis./North HS) finished 15th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.13 seconds. 
Nikaylah Woody (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) recorded a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.27. 
Emma Blom (JR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS) finished 17th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.39. 
Blair Stewig (So, Maple Lake, Minn.) competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and finished second with a time of 12:30.00. 
Malena Larsen (FY, Minnetonka, Minn.) finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:22.81. 
Kali Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) finished in the top-25 in three field events: 16th in the javelin throw, 19th in the hammer throw, and 21st in the discuss throw.
