MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg College women's track and field team, ranked No. 21 in the central region in the latest U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Division III computer national rankings, competed at the Hamline Meet of the Unsaintly on Friday and Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Callie Jones (JR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS)Â earned first-place in the long jump with a distance of 5.35-meters (17-feet-6.75), and finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.35 seconds. Jones is ranked first in the conference in the long jump and fifth in the 100-meter dash heading into next weekend's MIAC Championships.Â

Ashley Waalen (JR, Amery, Wis.) finished 10th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.34 seconds, and fourth in the long jump with a distance of 4.90-meters (16-feet-1). Â

Mary Cornelius (JR, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:56.24.Â

Alaina Quaranta (FY, Eau Claire, Wis./North HS)Â recored a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.92 seconds, while
Nikaylah Woody (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS)Â finished eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.91.Â
• Augsburg's 4x100-meter relay team of Quaranta, Woody,
Elizabeth Hickey (SO, St. Paul, Minn/Cretin Derham Hall HS), and Waalen finished third with a time of 52.05 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Cornelius,
Emma Blom (JR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS),
Blair Stewig (SO, Maple Lake, Minn.), and
Caitlin Olson (FY, Onamia, Minn.) finished fifth with a time of 4:44.91.Â

Kali Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS)Â finished in the top-ten in three field events: seventh in the discuss throw with a distance of 32.76-meters (107-feet-06), 10th in the hammer throw with a distance of 39.75-meters (130-feet-05), and 10th in the javelin throw with a distance of 26.75-meters (87-feet-09).Â
