MEET RESULTS

MINNEAPOLIS -- Abdul Salan (SR, Burnsville, Minn.) was the top finisher for the Auggie men's cross country team, taking 9th place in the Augsburg College Home Opener/Alumni Meet cross country event on Saturday morning at Riverside Park.

TEAM RESULTS: Wartburg (Iowa) 41, St. Olaf 64, Macalester 74, Bethel 88, Wisconsin-River Falls 102, Augsburg 150.
LOCATION: Riverside Park, Minneapolis

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Salan was the top finisher for Augsburg, finishing ninth overall with a time of 16:39.2.
• As a team, Augsburg finished sixth in the six-team meet with 150 points. Wartburg (Iowa) won the meet with 41 points.
• Chris Huss (SR, Jordan, Minn.) finished 32nd (2nd team) for Augsburg with a 5K collegiate-best time of 17:22.9. 
• Ryan Moore (SO, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) finished 44th (3rd team) in 17:43.0, also a 5K collegiate-best. Andrew McGillivary (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./South West HS) finished 48th (4th team) in 17:51.1, and Benjamin Erickson (SO, Andover, Minn./PACT Charter School) finished 58th overall (5th team) with a collegiate-best 5K time of 18:31.7.
• Jacob Van Houtan (FY, Champlin, Minn.) finished in 19:25.0, Yasir Said (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Harding HS) finished in 20:27.0 and Sean Adams (SR, Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS) finished in 24:07.8.

FOR THE FOES
• Wartburg claimed victory with 41 team points, with seven of the top 23 individual finishers.
• Julian Manley of UW-River Falls was the top finisher overall with a time of 15:56.5.
