MEET RESULTS

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. -- The Augsburg College women's track and field team returned to action at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Auggies had nine top-five finishes.

THE BASICS
FINAL RESULTS: Saint Benedict 136, Concordia-Moorhead 116, Minnesota-Morris 61, Augsburg 39. 
LOCATION: Collegeville, Minn.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Callie Jones (SR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) recorded the top Auggie finish, coming in first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.55 seconds. Jones also recorded a third place finish in the long jump (5.00 meters/16-feet-5.0). 
• Kali Kuusisto (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstromg HS) finished in second in the weight throw, recording a distance of 14.92 meters (48-feet-11). 
• Emma Blom (SR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS) claimed a third-place finish in the 800-meter run in 2:33.68. 
• Competing in the 5000-meter run was Malena Larsen (SO, Minnetonka, Minn.) where she finished fourth in 20:27.58.
• Nikaylah Woody (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) competed in the 60-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash, where she finished fourth (10.04) and second (64.53), respectively.

• The Auggies will return to action next Saturday (2/18) when they travel to compete in the University of Minnesota Parent's Day Open.
