The Augsburg College track and field teams are competing this weekend at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
Action for the Auggie women will begin on Friday (2/24) at 4 p.m. and conclude on Saturday at 10 a.m.

WOMEN'S FINAL RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Callie Jones (SR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) finished 10th in the long jump on Saturday, leading the Augsburg College women's track and field team in the final day of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference indoor championships on Saturday at St. Thomas. The Auggies finished with 7 points, taking 12th place.
Jones finished in 10th with a 5.02-meter (16-feet-5.75) effort in the long jump, while also finishing in 21st place in the 200-meter dash with a 27.83-second effort.
Nikaylah Woody (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) finished 16th in the 200-meter dash with a 27.08-second time.
The Augsburg 4x400-meter relay team of Woody, Emma Blom (SR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS), Blair Stewig (JR, Maple Lake, Minn.) and Caitlin Olson (SO, Onamia, Minn.) finished in 10th place in 4:30.70.Â

WOMEN'S FRIDAY RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Kali Kuusisto (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) and Callie Jones (SR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) earned All-MIAC Honorable-Mention honors with top-six finishes on Friday, leading the Augsburg College women's track and field team at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at the University of St. Thomas. Augsburg stands in 10th place with 7.0 points after Friday's competition, and will look to build upon those results Saturday.Â
Kuusisto was the top finisher for the Auggies on Friday, claiming fifth place in the weight throw with a distance of 14.82 meters (48-feet-7.5). Jones finished in sixth place in the 60-meter dash in 7.99 seconds, after running a season-best 7.95 seconds in the preliminaries.
Nikaylah Woody (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) finished 12th in the 60-meter hurdles preliminaries in a season-best 9.83 seconds. Taybri Irving (SR, Rosemount, Minn.) took 18th in the 5,000-meter run, finishing in 19:44.31, while Emma Blom (SR, Culver, Minn./South Ridge HS) finished 20th in the 800-meter run in 2:34.69. The Augsburg distance medley relay of Blair Stewig (JR, Maple Lake, Minn.), Caitlin Olson (SO, Onamia, Minn.), Blom and Malena Larsen (SO, Minnetonka, Minn.) placed 11th in 14:06.09.
