MEET RESULTS

SAINT JOSEPH, Minn. -- The Augsburg College men's track and field team competed at the Saint John's University/College of Saint Benedict Invitational on Saturday afternoon, recording two top-five finishes and finishing in 10th place in the 14-team event with 16.0 points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED 
• Miracle Adebanjo (FY, London, England/Minneapolis South HS) finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 13.10-meters (42-feet-11.75), a distance that ranks seventh among MIAC competitors. Adebanjo also finished seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.83 seconds and 19th in the 200-meter dash in 24.03 seconds.
• Raymond Guyton Jr. (FY, Stockton, Calif./St. Mary's HS) finished fourth for the Auggies in the 100-meter dash in 11.803 seconds.
• Preston Blake (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) and Deontae Heuer (JR, Stanley, Wis./Stanley Boyd HS) also finished in the top 15 in the 100-meter dash, finishing in eighth and 12th places, respectively. Blake finished with a time of 11.84 seconds and Heuer finished with a time of 11.980 seconds.
• In the 200-meter dash, the Auggies had two top-15 finishes, with Blake finishing 11th in 23.80 seconds and Samuel Rosario (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Eastview HS) finishing 12th in 23.820 seconds. 
• Gunnar Melin (SO, Edina, Minn.) recorded a 10th-place finish in the hammer throw in 45.98 meters (150-feet-10) and a 23rd-place finish in the discus throw in 35.22 meters (115-feet-7).
• Sean Adams (SR, Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS) finished 11th in the triple jump with a distance of 12.11 meters (39-feet-8.75).
• Patrick Deng (FY, Crookston, Minn.) was the lone Auggie competitor in the 110-meter hurdles on Saturday, finishing 12th in 17.22 seconds.
• Chris Huss (SR, Jordan, Minn.) placed 15th in the 5,000-meter run in 17:28.93, with Jacob VanHoutan (FY, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finishing 17th in 17:59.40.
• Abdul Salan (SR, Burnsville, Minn.) placed 25th in the 1,500-meter run in 4:19.64.
