MEET RESULTS

SAINT JOSEPH, Minn. -- Callie Jones (SR, Waubeka, Wis./Random Lake HS) led the Augsburg College women's track and field team with a third-place finish in the long jump at the Saint John's University/College of Saint Benedict Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Jones finished third in the long jump with a distance of 5.23-meters (17-feet-2). Her distance currently ranks fifth among MIAC competitors in the event.
• Nikaylah Woody (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Johnson HS) had two top-10 finishes for the Auggies in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Woody finished ninth in the 100-meter dash in 13.38 seconds and fifth in the 200-meter dash in 27.27 seconds.
• Kenna Bannister (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Jackson County Central HS) competed in the shot put where she finished 15th in 10.22-meters (33-feet-6.5). Bannister also competed in the discus throw for the Auggies, finishing 23rd with a distance of 27.27-meters (89-feet-5).
• In the triple jump, Kiah Larson (FY, Waconia, Minn.) finished in 8.28-meters (27-feet-2).
• As a team, Augsburg placed 13th with 8.0 points.
