The 2009 A-Club Golf Tournament was held on Monday, June 29 at the Gopher Hills Golf Course in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

A-Club Mission Statement
The A-Club is a service organization of former and current Augsburg College athletes and friends of the college committed to providing student-athletes with the opportunity to have a quality athletic experience by supporting Auggie athletic teams, the athletic department, and the mission of the college.
Members have the opportunity through the A-Club to continue a personal involvement in Augsburg athletics through participation in social events, attending athletic events, the giving of their time, and financially supporting A-Club goals and programs.
A-Club History
For more than a half-century, the Augsburg A-Club has been a vital link for the past, present and future of Auggie athletics. In the 2003-04 school year, the A-Club merged with its companion organization, AWAC (Augsburg Women's Athletic Club), enabling all athletic supporters to be a part of an organization that remains active within the Augsburg family.
The A-Club has been a key element, either through direct financial support or by providing labor and business expertise, in numerous projects that have benefited Augsburg athletics. The Edor Nelson athletic field, Si Melby Hall fitness center and renovation project, Hall of Fame display in the Melby Hall lobby and the annual Hall of Fame dinner, locker room improvements and many other projects totaling more than $4 million in value are a direct result of A-Club involvement.
A-Club members enjoy numerous social activities throughout the year. One of the biggest events is the annual Clair Strommen A-Club golf tournament in June. Other events include the Hall of Fame banquet during Homecoming week and alumni gatherings during home athletic events.
