WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT AUGSBURG

For most events at either Si Melby Hall/Kennedy Center and Edor Nelson Field -- Teams are requested to unload buses at the east entrance to Edor Nelson Field in Lot L, the large lot adjacent to the field off of 25th Avenue (Click here for campus map). An Augsburg representative will meet you to direct you to locker room areas. Buses can park in Lot L for most events, or on city streets around Murphy Square (the park in the middle of campus). If alternate parking is required due to parking lot demand, an Augsburg representative will notify you to detail alternate arrangements. An Augsburg game manager will meet you to direct you to locker room areas. Buses are allowed drop off teams along 23rd Avenue South in front of the main entrance to Si Melby Hall/Kennedy Center, but please note that the streets around campus are narrow and buses can have difficulty in navigating the tight corners. Visiting football team buses MUST use the Lot L drop-off area to drop off teams, and you will be directed to alternate parking outside of the field.

For events at Ed Saugestad Rink/Augsburg Ice Arena (men's/women's hockey) -- Teams can unload/load buses along Riverside Avenue, on the south side of the street (Augsburg Ice Arena side), or at the east entrance to Edor Nelson Field in Lot L, the large lot adjacent to the field off of 25th Avenue (Click here for campus map). An Augsburg representative will meet you to direct you to locker room areas. Buses can park along Riverside Avenue south of 23rd Avenue (on the Augsburg Ice Arena side), or on the city streets around Murphy Square (the park in the middle of campus), or in Lot L.

LOCKER ROOMS

For events at Si Melby Hall/Edor Nelson Field: Locker rooms are available two hours before game time, at halftime and after the game for showers in the Si Melby Hall/Kennedy Center complex. A locker room will be assigned to you by an Augsburg representative. You will be issued a fob key for access to the locker rooms. Locker rooms will be secured; however, please be responsible for your own valuables. Bring your own locks, as the locker rooms may be accessible to anyone who has the appropriate fob key for the locker room. Towels will NOT be provided. A table for taping (bring your own athletic tape and other athletic training supplies) and a whiteboard will be available in the locker room.

For men's/women's hockey at Ed Saugestad Rink/Augsburg Ice Arena: A visitor's locker room is available inside Ed Saugestad Rink, in the northwest corner of the rink. The locker room will be available two hours before game time, between periods, and after the game for showers. Locker rooms can be secured (lock and key provided by the site manager); however, please be responsible for your own valuables (bring your own locks). Towels will NOT be provided. A table for taping (bring your own athletic tape and other athletic training supplies) and a chalkboard will be available in the locker room. You are responsible for your own hockey-specific equipment (skate sharpeners, heat guns, etc.). Because of the tight confines in and around the locker room area, access is restricted to players and coaches only. Please note that because of limited locker room space in the arena, this policy may be changed for specific games (especially men's/women's hockey doubleheaders). Check before you arrive for specific locker room assignments.

There are no locker rooms available at Parade Stadium (baseball). Visiting teams are welcome to use the Si Melby Hall/Kennedy Center locker room; contact Augsburg athletic staff or the baseball coach for details.

For events at Edor Nelson Field (football/men's and women's soccer/softball): Teams are reminded that metal cleats are PROHIBITED from being used on the field. Also, sunflower seeds and chewing gum are PROHIBITED.
