Jess Brestel (Nebraska-Kearney '15) has served as an Augsburg assistant athletic trainer since 2017. She works directly with the Augsburg football, women's hockey, women's swimming and diving and women's lacrosse teams.
A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jess graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in Recreational and Sport Studies from South Dakota State University in May 2017. Prior to joining Augsburg University, Jess served as a graduate assistant at South Dakota State University working primarily with the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams.
