Augsburg University Athletics

Carlson was captain of 1948 Augsburg team and member of student/alumni team that played in National AAU Basketball Tournament in Wichita, Kansas in 1950s. She is also active in numerous activities on campus, including Augsburg Women’s Society. For several years Carlson was a teacher in physical education, along with volunteer activities at her church, including Opportunity Workshop for the disable and as a driver for the Meals on Wheels program for the past 15 years.
